Welcome to February @ Mirna`s - the month of romance, teddy bears and roses! The month of love...Yes, Love...that thing that is so hard to put into words. That inexplicable thing that can make you happier than you`ve ever been, sadder than you`ve ever been and angrier than you`ve ever been. It can elate you or deflate you, but...love can also inspire you to accomplish some of the craziest and most amazing feats.

When it comes to fitness, there is however a different kind of love you need to pull you through – self-love. In his book The road less travelled, American psychiatrist M Scott Peck says: “Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.” Yes, sometimes you`re so busy loving others that sometimes you forget about that one person who actually needs your love and attention the most - YOU!

...Thank you for a fabulous few weeks so far! We are into week 2 of our New Year Challenge and 86 members have signed up! For those of you who have decided not to enter, don`t fear, there are two more challenges later in the year! The most important thing is that you should all feel at home in our studio, enjoy the workouts and push yourself hard enough to make progress, slowly but surely, day after day. Please remember that you need to book for Booty Barre and Rhythm Pilates classes, except for Thursday mornings at 5 am – that class is open to all members. All the other classes work on a first come first serve basis, but please remember – if you are late for class there really is the risk of injury for your body is not warmed up.

Congratulations to Bianca Matthee and Michelle Odendaal, the winners of our free February lucky draw prize – watch this space, another fun class is coming soon! Workout tops and towels will also soon again be available in the studio...! Don`t hesitate to contact me about anything! We`re at your service.

It is my deepest wish that every time you enter our studio, you`ll be fulfilled with a sense of accomplishment, that every workout will be a rewarding experience and that you`ll leave feeling happier...have a fantastic February, and remember to love yourself a little more☺!
